This year when we send out our holiday cards, they literally will be cards.  We are sending out holiday postcards with our family photo on the front and a holiday wish and a little story abut our 2008 adventures on the back. 

The reason we are doing this is it is

1.  Let's us combine our photo, Christmas greetings and 2008 story all in one.

2.  It is cheaper.  We can a hundred cards for under $40 and mailing a postcard is much cheaper than sending out an envelope.

3.  We do it all online.  The company we use is a company I use at work call Overnight prints. com.  There is an interactive designer and it even has a category called postcards which lets you use a postcard layout for the address side and even lets you type your message right on the screen.

In addition we easily uploaded our photo on the other side.  If you don't have a photo we noticed there are also some backgrounds you can add under Holiday in the Change Background area.

4.  The last reason we are going to postcards is it uses less paper.
